F250 Making into F350 !!!!

Hi i have an f250 fx4 and i want to put in the f350 rear blocks because they are 2 inches higher. And going to level the front after. My truck sites level know. So i wont need more than a 2 inch level kit after. So what do i need to do for shock extentions and any other stuff i need so it is right. like bearing carrier spacer or whatever. i was thinking newton lifts!! thanks

I did the same thing to my 250 as your talking about. I only put longer shocks in the front, I was told the rears in both the 250's and 350's were the same.

If you put stock F 350 rear blocks in the rear, you'll need 2.5" lift for the front. I run 2.5" AutoSpring front pucks, they're $79 shipped to your door, it took me 2 hours to install them in my driveway with 2 bottle jacks and hand tools. No shock extensions, no trac bar relocation brackets, no longer brake lines, nothing. BUT since you're lifting the rear, you'll need a carrier bearing spacer for the rear driveshaft. It's pretty easy to install. Ask rod.10853 about it, he did it on his F250.

You will still have the f250 springs so really its still a f250. Do the springs to.

The 2.5" front coil spacer that Will used will work perfectly ... and has a great price.

I lifted mine 2" in the rear, and added a 1/2" carrier bearing spacer. The spacer is very easy to install. I never tried it without the spacer. All is well with the spacer in. But, I've thought about removing it to see what happens.

I was under a stock 08 F350 a while back and I don't think there was a carrier bearing spacer on it. The 08 F250 has a 1.9" block. And, I think the 08 F350 has a 3.5" block. Both trucks I'm referring to are long bed trucks.

My 350 dosent have a spacer. The rear blocks are roghly 3 5/8" thick but they are wedged for pinion angle. i had the 250 blocks in mine for a while but they were too low. I am going to go with a 2 1/2" to 3" block.

Gonna rub the control arms with 37's on stock rims - stock rims don't pooch out enough.

Here is my 2.5" front install (35's on stock 18's at that time):
