i wouldnt go that far. I have the 8" rize and it rides well, seems to flex pretty well, and handles well (once i got the steering sorted out).

its a good kit, not perfect, but these trucks are big and fairly complicated, so it think its good overall.

If you have specific questions, just let me know.

I just got some pics, if you need em, holler at me.

I've got the 8" Rize Four Link and I dig it. The truck rides good with the right shocks now (Icon Resi) and it behaves very well on the road. The truck has only been off road a couple times and it did well there as well. the front end articulated very well.

I would do the lift again in a heart beat.

if you two think that an 8" rize rides well your living in a dream world and/or never rode in a truck with a lift that rode well. they ride like a lumber wagon.

I have owned and driven trucks with:

6 in skyjacker
8 in skyjacker
12in atlas springs with custom drive line components
10in superlift
and 8 inch rize.

I recognize the first four were on an all leaf sprung truck, but this rize rides the best of all of them. I agree its not the same as stock, but i went into this knowing that. Not sure what lift you recommend (since you havent made one), but for the money i think the Rize is a pretty solid kit.

Baldguy if you have any further questions, send em.

I had an Icon 7" on my 05. It rode well but had coilovers up front and full spring out back.
I had a Fabtech four link on my 06 and rode like a dump truck. Had the 4.0 coilovers on it.

The Rize has been the Best riding so far of all of my trucks.

quit picking fights Reid

I think it all comes down to the shocks. Ive got a very stout kit and it rides like chit. I blew up a shock on the drivers side front and that side is much smoother then the other corners. Valving makes or breaks a lift. Get what u want but be very selective of your shock options.

Lets just say not quite stock.
Slower than some. Faster than most.

Thanks for the positive and negative feedback. I like the overall look of the lift and I know thats not the best reason to buy something. There are not a lot of lifted 6.4SD's around here so I thought I would ask you guys. Sledneck you feel very strongly against it so what would you recommend? I want to go with a 4 link system and get away from the radius arm set up. Stunya pics would be much appreciated as I love drooling over these trucks. Jesse cant wait to see the latest pics of your suspension upgrades. Thanks EH!

Rize is a great lift not sure what the one guy is talking about. Every truck I have ever owned has been lifted and my 08 with the Rize is by FAR the best riding truck (again some good improvements to the 08's). They are nice looking kits as well. You will not be dissapoint. IMO Icon & Rize are the two best out there for the 08's. My buddy has the Icon on his truck and we both think my rides better (dfff shocks though) but I still like their kit!!!
