08 door removal and speaker adapter????

Does anyone know where to find the speaker wire adapters that fit an 08 FX4 CrewCab with a baseline stereo (am/fm/cd) system? Also, does anyone have a written procedure for removing the doors to replace these speakers?

I really don't wanna cut into the wiring if I don't have to, but then again it wouldn't be the first time.

not sure on the wires and speakers but the door removal is easy. Just underneath the inside door handle/arm rest there is a little rectangle removeable plastic piece. pull that out and there are 2 screws behind it. take the screws out and then the door pannel will lift up and come off. actaully if i remember right there were a bunch of wires on the inside that you could see...not sure if any of them are what your lookin for or not.

door removal seems easy enough, now if finding the speaker wire connectors was just as easy........

Look at crutchfield for the adapter from oem to aftermarket speakers. If your oem wires are cut I would go to a junk yard and get the oem connectors and slice them in. Hope this gives you a way of doing your mod. At crutchfield they can give you all the tech support to do your job

I honestly forgot all about that company. I order from them many moons ago, but have since found much cheaper venues. I think I will call them in the morning to see what I can find out. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've cheated in the past. You can take a spade or fork end terminal and crimp it onto a wire to make a harness. It just depends on what your harness looks like going to the oem speaker. hope this helps.
