Want to make it a little bigger... Ideas?

So I have a 6" Pro Comp stage 1 lift and I wan to just go a wee bit bigger.

Ideally I would like to go 1 1/2" - 2" bigger in the front which should be easy with a spacer and in the rear i would like to go 1/2" - 3/4" bigger than the front... The rear already has stacked blocks so any ideas to what I can do?

I was thinking I would weld a 2" plate to the trac bars and just keep the stacked blocks but that may be sketchy also? or I could go to a add a leaf but I have heard the ride sucks but I have no experience with them to confirm this....

I'd get rid of the stacked blocks and order a block from Jason at Newton
Lifts. He'll do you up a block up to at least 7" if needed. Regarding the
add-a-leaf, I have one on my truck and I like how it's stiffened up the ride
a little. It's not too bad at all in my opinion ... feels how a big truck should
and can handle a lot more load with out the embarrassing sag too.

I'd do the ICON TEI spacer up front and get a larger block and or mini leaf pack out back. Trust me, the ADD A Leaf DOES make it ride like a dump truck. I ran 1 for a week and it had to go.

What brand did you run? That's surprising to me cause mine isn't bad at all. My wife even commented after I added it that she thought it didn't change the truck much. If she doesn't think it's rough, I'd say the Superlift *long* add-a-leaf is worth a try for those who need a AAL.

My Superlift add-a-leaf cost $89 bucks from Summit Racing if I remember correctly. I can dig out the part number when I get a chance if you need it. It's specifically said to be for the longer '08 springs. I looked at mini packs, too, but they are significantly more expensive from what I recall. Carli makes a nice looking mini pack for like 300 bucks I think.

The add-a-leaf I bought is listed as a 2" lift spring. But, it raised the truck a little more than that. Closer to 2.5" lifted in the rear. I've been working it with lots heavy loads of dirt and stone. It's holding up well. Hangin' Heels is the one that turned me on to it. Last I read, he liked his, too. But, it had started to squeak a little ... so he hit it with some silicone spray and it fixed it. Mine's not squeaking yet.

Edit: I guess with a short bed truck a add-a-leaf would feel a bit more harsh maybe. I think these Ford trucks are a little to soft stock, though, and I like 4bys to be a little stiffer.
