Question Installing a ICON 4.5 Lift Kit

I'm preparing to install an ICON 4.5 kit, with OUO adjustable links and OUO rear blocks (since stuff BTW). I have a <= 200 ft lbs 1/2" torque wrench that will cover most of the fasteners, but it isn't big enough for the pan rod bolt (requires 400+ ft lbs!). I have an air impact wrench up to 650 ft lbs, but I don't think that's the same thing as using a torque wrench.

Do I just tighten the heck out of the bolts or do I need to worry about getting it properly torqued?

TIA...

Use a cheater bar on a wrench that will fit. Length of the bar X pounds you push on it = ft lbs. So in your case, if you use a 4' bar, put 100 lbs of force on it, bam 400 ft lbs. Whatever length your cheater bar is, you can figure how much weight to push on it.
