Destroked or fordcummins?

I have been looking at both web sites and I wanted to know who has the best customer service. I'm doing a conversion on an 05 single cab dually ranch truck and im going to keep the automatic. I am also debating pulling the cab off because the front bumper cannot come off. Is there any tricks or tips that anyone could offer in the swap and cab removal? I'm going with a p pumped 12 valve that will be mildly turned up. Any info or links will be appreciated.
Thanks

I bought alot of Destroked parts and have been less than impressed with thier customer service. Thier parts are top knotch in quality though.

I'd recommend going thru one of Destroked Dealers, particularly Steel or Aden @ GOS Performance. They have awesome customer service and everytime I have called up Steel, he's dropped what he's doing to help me.

One word of advice- Stay away from FordCummins... talk about hack-job. As far as parts go, Destroked builds awesome adapter plates. We have done more conversions than anybody else out there and have the tech support to back it. We are a dealer for Destroked as well as building many of our own conversion parts. Call us or PM me and I'll be happy to help you out!

Thanks. That's what I'm looking for. I'm still worried about the stock tranny.

What trans are you trying to use? Any trans in stock form will slip behind even a slightly modded Cummins.

I think I'm going to go with tha 4r100. How does it do behind the cummins? Is there any issues like the 5r110?

i have bought from alot of different vendors to get my project done, Auto world and GOS are really top notch and can always help you, calling destroked directly sucks the girl that answers the phone cant answer nothing and just gives you scotts cell number, and then hopefully you get the right part in the mail, for example i bought a CR throttle cable adapter and received PCS's throttle position sensor and then when i got what i was supposed ot it was missing one of the pieces (mind you there are only 3 pieces in the kit) they make the best parts but customer service needs help. Call GOS or Auto world.

as for fordcummins i have bought some little stuff from them and have not really had a problem with support or the parts but i have not done much business with them.

I'm planning on dealing with Steel for my swap parts. He has been a great help to many on this forum.
