Torque converter

Has anyone had their stock 4r100 converter stall lowered? Who would you recommend and what would be a good stall speed? The 12 valve I'm using will be pushing 250 to 300 hp with heavy towing. What is the stock dodge stall speed? I don't want to buy a $1000 converter. Thanks.

Yes you'll want to get it lowered..

I have a BTS 4R100 and sent my converter to Brian. I don't know what he set the stall at, but its defintely works great.

Its personal preference. I like the way a low stall converter comes on and grabs in the lower R's. Although my twins light very easily. Aden like a stock stall which put less load on the motor in the lower R's which helps gets the turbos moving, especially if you are running a big single or big twins.
