coolant sensor adapter for 02 f250 with 12v

i know where to put the oil pressure sensor but where do i put the coolant temp sensor?

02 f250 ccsb lariat 12v and nv4500 swap in the works

Just remove one of the plugs on the passenger side top of head.

I would add close to the front.

1988 ford van fresh overhaul, 1991 nissan pick-up 1993 Caprice 2000 GMC S10 Blaser 2007 nbs 3500 GMC 4x4 crew-cab long box 17 inch single wheels Duramax Alison. BW turnover Ball. Furakawa FL35 loader. Retired, HD mechanic, worked on engines all my life. Fabricator welder. electrician. in the process of finishing my new shop. Live in Rock Creek B.C. Wife has a fruit stand.

you will need an adapter, they are pretty easy to make but you can buy them for about $30 from fordcummins, GOS does not stock them but will give guidence to make them(preferred by me) as wells as autoworld.

i mounted mine at the back of the head where the factory one went. I bought a adapter at lowes and then tapped it to fit my sensor. I have a 6.0 though. It shouldnt be that different.

i believe it was 3/4" or 1" npt.

ok thanks everybody i ended up removing the dodge coolant sensor and broke both ends of the sensor off so all i had was the threaded body, then I drilled it out and tapped it for the ford sensor and it looks like it will work just fine for anybody else needing to do this its an option as i couldn't find an adapter locally.
