Need your opinion and some other answers...

What is the quietest running year or years of Cummins 5.9L?

What is the easiest years to make HP with?

Does your engine adaptor plates require a different torque converter if you wanted to use a Ford 5R110 transmission in a swap?

Your site says you have access to Cummins engines...What is the going rate for a good running, complete...I mean, COMPLETE 5.9L engine go for?

Do you offer any Cummins Swap "Packages"? (All required adaptors for alternator, power steering, transmission, engine, etc.) in one "Kit".

My buddy is thinking of doing a swap, and I am prolly going to be doing it for him...but I do not have any experience with Cummins engines at all, or what is involved with changing one over from a 6.0L to a 5.9L.

-Need to know about wiring changes etc...
-He is looking to go with twin turbos, so any information in regards to achieving 700-800 hp in a daily driver is welcome.

Well the 5.9L Cummins that will be the quietest and be able to make the most power would be the Common rail '06-'07, the '03-'05 Common Rail is the next choice for power and quietness. For an easier swap the older 5.9L's are a popular choice. You may want to PM the GOSperformance guys they are busy guys and so many people seem to be wanting a Cummins swap these days.

My 12v without exhaust doesn't sound any louder than my old 6.0l inside the truck. I did add two layers of sound deadening material also, I have not heard my truck run in almost a year. But it is nice to have the motor running with out an electricl wire hooked to it.

Decided to go with a 2005, or 2006 CR, and stick an Allison behind it.

Parting out my truck to help pay for parts...
