best way to lower the rear?

whats the best way to lower the rear of my truck? so its level with the front

1996 ram 2500 ex cab long 2wd, 5'' straight, 215s, 4k gsk(only revin till 3k), 16* timing, fuel plate MIA, afc modded FF, CFM intake mani, afe stage 2

15.40 at 90.61 in the 1/4th (09-18-10)

unless its 4wd then raise the front,

I have seen guys cut the stock spacer blocks down and put on new U-Bolts with good results.

Have the blocks milled down a little and redrill the centering pin hole.
