I have never heard of it before but, I guess there is a first time for everything. Did a shop install your arm with a lift? If so was the drop arm also part of the suspension system? If yes to both then go after the company who either installed the lift or the company that supplied the lift. Most of the arms that I am familar with are cast pieces. Perhaps the casting was bad from the start.

Not sure what brand it was but Superlift had a recall on some of these a year or 2 ago due to bad castings.

Superlift supplies many of the lift kit manufacturers with their pitman arms. As far as the Rize steering, the problem is that it lowers the draglink around 6" so you would have to lower the trackbar mount the same amount. Rize for some reason, won't sell their track bar drop bracket seperate and no one else makes for for that amount of drop.
