Kelderman 5-6 inch lift?

Have any of you guys ever put the Kelderman Air Ride Suspensions on your trucks. I was kinda interested in their 5-6 inch lift. Seems like it is a really expensive choice though and was wondering if it is really worth all that coin???

I did not put one on my truck.

I helped put one on a friends. It went on a bout 5 years ago. On a new Dodge Dually at the time. He was never impressed and eventually sold the truck to get out from under it.

It seems like a common trend to put a Kelderman lift on your truck and then sell it soon afterwords. I had a customer of mine remove his Kelderman setup from his Dodge Megacab Long Bed conversion and replace it with a Carli 2.0 system and he is way happier. He puts 100+ miles a day on the truck, mostly on backroads. He also has an 08 Super Duty with an Icon 2.5 kit and likes driving his Dodge alot better.

Are you asking about a suspension for a Dodge or a Ford?

Personally, I wouldn't touch a kelderman kit... My dad used to install them (for a very short while) at his auto repair place, and soon after realized they are poorly constructed, and ride like crap, in general... Go with Carli or the like for a much better ride.

Well thanks for all the input guys. I am asking about the system for the 04.5 2500 Dodge that I am buying in October/November from a buddy of mine.

If you have the budget for the 6" Kelderman and aren't in a hurry you should wait for the 6" Carli systems to come out. They are hoping to have them ready in a few months. I will most likely be running the 2.0 6" system on my truck soon. It converts the front to a long radius arms for maximum travel and ride performance.
