putting the D-max to work..

This was a smallish, yet stubborn tree stump.. with lots of little yet well developed roots.. a neighbor was struggling with digging it out so I offered to use my truck to take it out... 3 attempts later (due to ropes breaking), we got it out with a high strength climbing type rope.. The truck was put in normal 4x4 mode and only a little bit of power used.

You should have gotten a good chain, though it wasn't much of a stump.

Exactly. It wasn't worth the trouble. Though it was far more work than it's appearance would make you think. that was the 3rd rope.

Gm took care of it, I explained what my partner did, took pics of the stump, and they said that never should have happened..it was about half the size of what you pulled out.. They were cool, good to go.
