If you run an H&S you might be able to. A buddy of mine had 11 and he claimed 19-20mpg with an H&S and deletes.

my 2011 has done me fine. i drive mostly country roads 60-65 mph and i am averaging 19-20 mpg. i towed my 10k travel trailer to tetons and back to missouri last fall. averaged 10mpg for that trip running 75-80 mph. and the mountains did not slow me down. plus the exhaust brake does work well. have little over 20,000 miles and never a hick-up. the transmission is a god send compared to dodge. in tow haul it never lets your rpm get below 1600, or outside the power band. does not upshift until next gear will be reving 1600 or above. i traded a 2008 dodge cummins for the chevy. the main reason was the emission setup. chev injects the diesel for regen in the post turbo exhause so no fuel dilurion in engine oil. the locking diff actually locks up, unlike dodges limited slip. the onboard computer on chevy is accurate. it is never off by more than 0.2mpg and the "fuel used" is usually showing more than has actually been consumed. i had dodge from 1994 til last year, and i am more than satisfied with my silverado.

to judge fuel mileage, you have to have constants. me i use the same fuel all the time, i use the same additive, i drive the same roads at the same speed. so with these constants, i had 2008 dodge 2500 4x4 ext cab short bed automatic with full deletes and smarty jr set on economy. i got 18-19 mpg. new 2011 silcerado crew cab short bed 4x4 automatic. all emissions intact i get 19-20 mpg. all else the same. this is an equal comparison.
