Horsepower and Torque Ratings

Does anyone know what these motors are going to be rated at? I'm a die hard chevy fan but the new 2011 powerstroke looks pretty serious.

Neither company has posted numbers. It used to be that Chevy waited for Ford then posted slightly higher, rumor is that Ford is tired of that and plans to reverse the strategy.

The new ford transmission is rated at 1400 ft/lbs of torque as compared to the allison's official 550. Nuff said.
Proof of the allison is here:http://www.allisontransmission.com/d...t/specs_HS.pdf
The proof of the ford is in the name, 6R140 the 140 is expressive of 1/10 the total torque capacity.

That should be an incentive. At least you know you will get money for it after it is well used.

The 5r110's behind the 6.4's seem to be doing pretty good with 1100 ft/lbs that the motors are making with the 275 and 310 Spartan tunes.
