2.8 S10 keeps dying

I just recently bought a 86 s10 with the 2.8 tbi v6. its 4x4 and 5sp. It starts and runs fine for about 30 seconds to a minute then it just dies. I have 10-12 psi of fuel pressure from start up till it dies and it even holds 10psi after it dies till the fuel settles back down the line. For the short amount of time it does run it idles smooth, not rough. Im kinda lost on what my issue might be. Any ideas??

Just went thru the same thing with a friend's Grand Am. Not sure where your local is but fuel pumps are known to go during the winter time. Try replacing the fuel filter to see if you have a fuel blockage there. Thats a cheap fix, if that doesn't cure the problem then it could very well be the fuel pump is going.

Done with diesel's for now. Lost my @#$ on the two we had. 40 times in the shop between the both of them.
