Which truck for me?

5,800 pounds in the bed of the truck - that's the requirement I need a truck to meet.
So, I'm looking at the dually with a 6.7 diesel engine.
But I know nothing about the Dodge family of trucks.

Can someone suggest which engine/trans/differential combination would best meet the payload requirement?

If your not going to tow heavy with the slide in camper there is no need to get the max tow package, 385 hp and 850 torque with 4.10 gears. The 370/800 package will be more then enough. I tow a 12,000 lbs 5th wheel with the 370/800 package with 3.42 gears and it handles the grades up and down no problem.
If you want the 6 speed manual then you will take a hit in both hp and torque, as its derated.
