Ok so I got new tires today. Nitto G2s 35/12.50/18s. Max psi says 65. My truck wants 80lbs in the back tires. Keeps telling me they are too low. How do I correct this? Anyone have the same issue?
I can't tell if your truck is a 1500/2500/3500.
Did you get the correct load range? 65psi seems low.
The dealership can change the setting, but may not for liability reasons if the load range is insufficient for the rated capacity of the truck.
A standard for Nitto light truck tires is their dual-design sidewall. You can face the side you like out, or mix and match to really mess with peoples’ heads.
