Group Buy Dynatrac Free-Spin Hub Conversions

I was asked by Steve Deeter AKA "steved" to run a group buy on Dynatrac Free-spin hub conversions for the Dodge and ford Trucks.

as i understand it the this system replaces the autolock system on the front axle allowing it to free spin which will reduce the drag on the truck removing the vibration that some dodge/ford owners experance and increasing mileage by reducing rotating mass.

you can read more on the systems here http://www.dynatrac.com/products_freespin.html

I will do my best to answer any questions you have about this setup however i do not have much experance with it. so any input for those who have is welcome.

Jeremy

PM for pricing if you are intrested.

Yeah, it'll give you locking hubs (for the dodge boys). And Serviceable wheel bearings. Definately nice kits to upgrade to.

I've installed their SD combo kit on my truck...haven't sold or installed any Free Spin kits.....yet...

The reason I want this kit is to eliminate the "driveshaft" vibration that is actually a transfercase issue in these early 3rd gen dodge.

Additionally, they provide a couple mpg gain in the 02+ trucks that don't have the CAD...they eliminate turning the entire front axle assembly. And they eliminate the $400 failure prone unit-bearings.

I also found that with the front driveshaft out of my truck, it handled better and tracked better on uneven roads...so it will most likely help in that area too.

I also travel crosscounty...I'm sitting in Gallup, New Mexico as I write this...so having the fuel economy, easy to repair bearings, and wearfree front components is a benefit to me.

You know I'm in unless we don't get enough people!

Did you ship those filters? Just want to know when to tell the GF to look for them. I'll be here until sometime after the new year's weekend!
