DPP New Website, Need Opinions

The site is no where near done yet but I asked the company building it to make it "live" so we can get opinions on it.

If there is anything you would like to see changed, added or removed please let me know as I am willing to consider any suggestions you all have.

If you have pictures on our customer's page with info that is incorrect or pictures that are out dated and you would like new info/pics please email them to me.

Check it out and let me know what you all think.

site is very dark w/black diamond plate background and I have 20/10 vision but still have to squint to read menus. Menu pop-ups could be magnified? links work well, but empty so far. $.02

It looks good. The font is small as mentioned before. The product pictures are out of perspective as well.

Are you having someone build this site or using an online application to do it?

I have a company building the site for me this time. I do not have the time it takes to build or maintain the site anymore so I am lettin a proffesional do it.

Maybe it is my big screen but the fonts did not seem small to me. Hav you tried clicking the Font Size button it the upper right corner to see if that helps??

I think the easy fix is to eliminate some side border. It looks like each side is almost 50% as wide as the body. The are I was talking about is under the Welcome to the New Home. The font is very small. I'm on a large screen and it's small.

The picture I was specifically talking about it the MBRP 5" muffler on the main page. It looks like a barrel. I can't remember what does that to pictures, but it's stretching to fit the object box, changing the ratio.

I hope it helps.

I am not sure what you are speaking of on the side border?? On my screen the main body is only like a 1/4" from each side of my screen.

I do see there is some areas with smaller fonts that may be difficult to read. I will let them know about that and see what they can do.

My 2 cents, I would put your story more towards the top so that when the page loads, Your Header is at the top and your story and site description is right there for people to read...and then move the products lower on the page to the right of the "Shop by Vehicle"...that way the products don't dominate the home page when it loads up....maybe even use a watermark behind the text of a nice truck..or a customers truck...??? could be good for business and in getting referrals....

Looks good. My only suggestion would be at the top of the page. Your name and contact info needs to be more pronounced. After-all that is who you are and how to get a hold of you..

One more, pet peeve of mine. When I want I phone number. I want it to be a number. So either add it under what you have or replace what you have with the number.
