Accufab Power Elbow Groub Buy

We have Accufab Power Elbows on the way. We'd like to offer a group buy and want to know how many are interested. Right now, the 05-06 trucks are available. The 03-04 Elbow will be out shortly. We're working on pricing and timing now, just checking interest.

Some of the features of the Power Elbow are:

Airflow increased by 40%

Lower EGT's

Increased mileage

Less back perssure

Boost port for aftermarket boost gauges

Easy Installation!

Available in a cast or polished finish

We've also started some testing on the AFE Stage II open filter setup and comparing it with some other brands. We'll have those results soon.

Lastly, we have a ton of T shirts and hats coming, they will be on our new site soon. We're about half way done the new website and it will be updated shortly. Thanks!

We haven't personally dyno'd the elbow, but we plan to. We have datalogged EBP pressure and it shows a decrease of 8% throughout the rpms on stock boost. We'll do more testing with it in the near future.

Are you going to run these tests before the group buy goes into effect?

Dang it mine should be on the porch when I get home tonight.

If you're like many Ford truck owners, you appreciate the performance of your 6.0L Power Stroke Turbo

Diesel engine. Of course, it never hurts to add more power, especially if you're towing an overloaded trailer.

We have developed a new Power Elbow for the 2005 - 2006 6.0L Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engines.

Originally developed and tested on our own F-350 Super Duty, the Accufab Power Elbow made an immediate

difference.

Features include:

Airflow increased by 40%

Lower EGT's

Increased mileage

Less back perssure

Boost port for aftermarket boost gauges

Easy Installation!

Available in a cast or polished finish

Independent dyno tests, conducted by Jim D'Amore of JDM Engineering, showed a 9hp advantage over stock with no

other changes and an equal increase in torque. The reduction in back pressure alone will increase the life of the turbo.

HUH, 40% more flow out of the same size elbow, all cause it is rounded... I think they has some good stuff burning when they made that up!

All depends what happens to the air when it hits the sharp turns and doesn’t flow. If there is turbulence inside it is quite possible to easily flow 40% more.

How would a machine shop go about testing that. Also, you can flow more in, but it has to get out. So lowering EGTS also? To a point I can see this, but it sounds like a lot of BS to this kid.

I would think they would test it like they would heads on a flow bench.
Also these guys are not some smuck outfit they have a good reputation
I would agree with what you say about lowering EGTS. Must have known they could push more through.
I bought it mainly because I was going to take mine off this weekend to drill for a boost gauge so thought what the heck can't hurt.
