If you could get AMSOIL products at full dealer wholesale cost that would mean saving several dollars per quart making it priced near petroleum non synthetics and less than royal Purple would you?

Had to vote a big fat no. I already have access to it at that pricing and I haven't made the switch because it's such a pain in *** to get. You have to order it, shipping is involved, and it's just not convenient.

Hate to go there, but my truck has run it's best on the Motorcraft 15-40 blend, and for the price, I haven't found anything the truck likes better.

The Current Truck (Oct-2013 to Present):
1999 (Early) F-350 Lariat, CCLB, SRW, Black/Tan

7.3L Powerstroke, 4R100, 4x4, 3.73, 37x13.50-18s, '05 Axle Swap, 6" Fabtech lift, GTP38 "D66" turbo upgrade, SCT 4-position chip with custom tuning by me, Straight Piped 4" down pipe through 5" dual stacks, N-Fab full length triple steps, Pro-Tech cab guard and tool box, louvered 5th wheel gate, Hella 500 Fog and Driving lamps, much more to come...
The one I'll miss, (Mar-2009 to Jan-2014):
2000 Excursion XLT 4x4

6.8L V-10, 4R100, 4.30, 285/75-18, 271whp / 388wtq
The one I won't, (Jul-2005 to Sep-2012):
2005 F-350 XLT, CCLB, SRW, 4x4 FX4

6.0L PSD, ZF-6S650, 3.73, 35x12.5-18, 4.5" Lift

I voted no.
First of all I buy my oil in bulk and its delivered and pumped into my storage tanks, so that makes it cheaper to start with. With all the different makes/engines gas and diesel on the ranch I never have had a oil related failure. Old age and dirty work enviornments take a bigger toll. At certain times of the year on some equipment, air cleaners have to be cleaned daily, even with precleaners. Then there has been a case or two where a rock has been thrown by a mower and other things and has punctured a oil filter: and when the motor is running at speed and load it doesn't take long to bring it to a stop.

BTW I use Chevron Delo 400 15-40 in just about everything.

I had to vote no. Its great oil but was a pain for me to get here, and with all the engines we have to keep going I have a hard time planning ahead to order some. I buy mobil delvac mx by the 55 gallon drum for like 10 bucks a gallon. It seems to work great just cant run it in a 2007 and newer engine.

94 Ford F-250, Reg cab, xlt, 12v cummins, 5 speed, 4:10s,
370's, edge jammer turbo, colt camshaft, tuned by Snap-on

99 Kenworth T800, C-12 cat power, 10 speed, 3:90 gears, ag200, ridewell tag, 24ft grain bed.

90 freightshaker, 3406a , 13 speed, um...it was cheap

What's so hard about it, it's very simple to order and shipped right to your address.

It's not that it's hard. I can take 15 minutes, log on to the website, order it and wait several days for it to arrive, and then change my oil.

OR

I can take 15 minutes, I can drive about 3/4 of a mile, grab 4 gallons of whatever oil I want, and return home. I can have my oil changed before the Amsoil even ships.

I'm not saying anything against the product itself, I actually quite like it, but the distribution system is horrible, always has been, and my father became a lifetime in 1978, so I can speak to this with some authority.

That's sort of putting the cart before the horse for me...it's not like you get surprised by an oil change...I replace my AMSOIL products after every change so it's sitting there ready for next time...I don't think that's too difficult...so by the same token by the time you drive to your local parts store and back my oil change with AMSOIL is pretty much done...and I used the product I wanted...easy peasy...kinda goes hand in hand with having belts, bulbs, coolant and washer fluid in my garage too...not too tough.

Lol...that's funny, the only thing I need to justify is running the oil I want...period...I was just poking back at the last post in fun so don't go getting all in a huff...nobody is saying you have to run AMSOIL or kicking you in the teeth because of what you run...maybe your just poopy because we kicked your back side so liberally in the World juniors tonight lol. You can run what ever cheap products you want in your rig, and if your paranoid about your credit card that is understandable for sure in this day and age, however I'm an x RCMP and I can tell you that you run a higher risk with your cards using the retail swipe machines.

Like I said, I have NOTHING against the product. I've used it on and off personally for over 20 years, and my father used it all the way back to the late 70's. Results with product have always been very good.

My point is that the Amsoil distribution network is simply terrible. "Convenience" is being able to walk into a retail location and buy it whenever I want/need to. If I want to buy it, put it in the corner for a week or a year, or use it right then on the spot, that's my choice.

Maybe you're making so much money selling Amsoil that you can afford to sit on the product, good for you if that's the case. The majority of us poor peeps who don't have any extra cash "laying around" have to buy things as we need it, or when it's "convenient".

If they started selling Amsoil at major retail outlets nationwide, I would certainly be more inclined to use it, because I could get it whenever I wanted/needed it.
