Which exhaust is quieter @ 80mph?

Just wondering what would be quieter at highway speeds. A 4" dp into a 4" exhaust with a resonator or a 4" dp into a 5" exhaust with a resonator?? I've never run a 5" exhaust

they will be the same volume really, but 5" will be lower. My 7" stack is loud but very, very deep.

I have a 4" striaght from the turbo back and to tell you the true the only time i notice it is when someone brings it up. I guess i've just drove it long enough to not listen for it anymore. Although my buddy has a 99 4in with a high flow muffler on it and it's almost stock levels in the cab.

2000 CTD, HOT Juice w/Attitude, Smarty, Mach 2 injectors (105 HP), 4" exhaust, BHAF, SB Clutch, FASS 150 ARP 12mm studs, stage 3 snow kit.

2008 f350/96 cummins in the works.

I say 5 inch, because when I had my 4 inch in it sounded alot raspier, and when i switched to the 5 inch stack its much deeper but its also quiter and just has more tone all around, and it sounds like a truck and not some inaudible roar.
