Question Ceramic or Powder Coat the hotside intercooler pipe !

Ok so i'm doing a custom hotside intercooler pipe for my 6.4L and wanted to coat it when it gets done. My question is if I ceramic coat it the under hood temps will drop but the coating may prevent initial cooling before it hits the intercooler resulting in a higher egt then if uncoated. is this a negligible concern or something not to do? If I powder coat the pipe will it help under hood temps, aid in cooling the charge, or will it just look pretty?

What's the upside and downside to each coating?

Thanks

Nick

I would say you need to powder coat the pipe to leave the heat escape. Under hood temps are warm regardless of one air pipe.
