I have never played but I do joke about the guys at work that do.

I like to show up at work and listen to the guys talk about the "quest" or what ever it's called from the night before. These are grown men; most are married. I laugh and if it weren't for their kids I would question their preferences.

If you are going to play, pick an avatar or character that is your same sex. One of the guys at work was a "hot chic elf."

Had a guy at work (now laid off) "leveled" a player up and then sold it for $300.
He was ADDICTED! pay $15/month to play a game??? UM, NO!

Life changes, so roll with it, not against it.

You might as well start LARPing if you play WOW. I don't play it cause I have invested to many hours making fun of people that do play it.

(Live Action Role Playing) A guy at work does it. He's a winner.
