i am currently in the market looking for a truck and i dont exactly know what to get. i hear mixed reviews on everything so i figured i'd ask you guys.

i just want a nice classy truck. little bit of a lift, kinda big tires, and a little bit of torque. im not gonna build it for anything persay, i just want a nice truck i can tow anything with (if need be), get to and from work, and occasionaly demolish a mustang from a stoplight.

you seem to be a chevy guy so, get a dirtymax. build the tranny, get a lift pump, PPE or EFI and you're good to go.

otherwise, id say get a cummins.

ya i sure am a chevyboy but i am ready to mix things up. my buddy has a 7.3L and it is o but i dont think it is for me. i REALLY want a cummins but they are just soooo darn expensive. idk.

depends what years you want or can afford. I like my dmax overall. nice ride, quiet motor with plenty of power...

I just bought a D-Max and it is awesome, granted it is an LBZ which is one of the best motors IMO besides the 5.9L Cummins. If you want power and longevity get an LBZ, you get a good truck aswell. If you want a good motor and don't care about comfort get a Dodge. I would never buy a Powerstroke so I can't comment on them. Just my 2 cents and obviously it is just a personal opinion kind of thing.
