To return or not to return to tank??

There has been a lot of discusion about running a regulated return system back to tank on the majority of the fuel systems. Since Airdog came out with there new pumps they them selves are already returning to tank. So my question would be if your pump is already returning to tank and the pump has a preset pressure do you really need a R/R system. The main reason for a R/R system is to let the trap air in the fuel go back to tank and main flow thru the heads.
