Gas in my lmm

Hello recently I had someone put gas in my lmm duramax without my knowledge. I drove it and it died...I ended up having to get an injector replaced. It now seems to be running with a valve clatter sound and it started overheating from time to time and then the overheating would stop. Does anyone have any information about these symptoms? It's not giving me any check engine lights or any codes.

The lack of lubrication can wipe out the high pressure pump.
Get it checked quick.
If it grenades it will send metal all through the fuel system. ~$10K to repair.

Thanks for the information!! It's going into the shop tomorrow. Any reason why the truck would keep overheating and then just stop and run at a normal operating temperature?

Hmmmm,
Bad injector maybe?
Head gasket?
Ticked off diesel gods because you gave them gasoline for an offering?
