U Joints / Carrier Bearing

Replacing them today. Carrier bearing is not making any noise or vibration, but while everything is out, might as well replace it. 105K miles on it today. I will get some pics.

Replaced u joints, carrier bearing the other day (finally) . Still had vibration. Going to rebalance the driveshaft with a new male shaft (they say it is bent slightly) and a new brass bushing in the tailhousing.

The hubs are sealed units so you have to replace the whole thing. Not to big of a job, just time consuming.

I guess one of the rear wheels was bent on mine because when I mounted my new tires/wheels I only reused the steer wheels and now the vibe is gone.

i also had a tire guy tell me one of the original steel wheels looked bent, so i was hoping thats what it was.
