Removal of kitty

How difficult is it to remove that pesky kitty? 06 duramax all stock except Line-x bed liner

sawzall.... about 5 minutes. Id just buy a 4 inch front pipe without a cat... if you wanna keep the stock exhaust on it there are front pipes out there from MBRP and Dynomax that still utilize the four bolt flange so itll bolt right up. They can be had for about $120 from jegs or summit. Also on the newer trucks its likely you will throw a code with no cat and a bigger exhaust.

EFILive, SC Trans w/ 1058 by me, Traction bars and centerlink braces built by me, Custom adjustable stock wastegate, 6 inch custom exhaust, 1792 Lift Pump, Belltech 3" drop shackles, Black H2's w/ Falken 285/60/17s for summer, BFG 315/70/17s for winter, SD sleeves, DiPricol EGT and Boost gauges on the pillar along with an Aeroforce for rail PSI and trans temp, 2 Kicker Comp CVT 10's w/ memphis amp, t-rex full face billet grille,limo tint, .Oh yeah I'm 20 and I built and tuned it myself.

on the 05 SB, no cutting is required. Just jack up the right rear, and remove the tire IIRC.

I have an 04, and i put a new fornt pipe on mine so i took it out. but if he is just wanting to straight pipe the stock exhaust obviously hed have to cut it.

are you running anything other than the stock exhaust on your truck KB?

very nice. i have a dynomax front pipe, and midsection because i got it for really cheap, and then the stack and stuff i put together just with stuff from the pete shop.
