Extra work lights

My work light behind the cab is rendered useless by the cab protector for my utility body. I would like to install 1 or 2 simple GE rubber mounted tractor lights on my cab protector to shine down into the bed.

My plan is to tap into the wire inside the rear work light lens, run the wire back to the cab protector and to the lights.

My questions are: Has anyone done something similar? Will the stock wiring support 2 more small-ish work lights? Anyone think I'm gonna blow fuses or melt the stock wiring? The wiring looks pretty light.

Thanks.
