The other day we was racin a freind and happend to look up at the egt gauge and it was peged out at 1600 deg. , geting 38psi on the stock turbo. do yall have any ideas on how to get the egt's down to manageable range?

bigger turbo for sure and he can actually use all that fuel he is pouring out there to make useable HP. that and water/meth will help a little

I have heard that the PPE Hot+2 can run hot, but I bet he was makin some power! Look into water/meth, that may be his best bet short of defueling the truck.

:agreed: That is a very hot tune for a stock turbo. Either needs a bigger turbo or some water/meth

The rumor is anything above 34 psi will soon eat the stock turbo. Does he have the stock downpipe? Try backing the boost down and running level 9 or maybe even 6. That's alot of fuel for that turbo. If you do happen to upgrade the turbo you might be upgrading the internals shortly after.

upgrade the turbo and run on a lower level. he will make the same amount of power with less fuel and lower EGTs.
