if you need to cut some off, lay the original system along side the new system to see where and how you need to cut it off, make sure that where ever you cut the pipe that your hangers still line up fairly close, put the new system under the truck, see how it fits, dont tighten anything, once your happy with the length and the fit you can tighten it all up and you should be good to go
, the GF's dad put a magnaflow system on his 01, nice system, fits nice, sounds pretty nice too, loud enough to make people look, but doesnt drone inside the cab at highway speeds
on the 07 its a PITA to get the back half of the original system out in one piece, you have to jack up the back end of the truck in order to create enough clearance between the axle and the bed, you can get it out with some twisting and a lot of cursing, the front pipe is also a PITA, you have to unbolt the transmission cross-member, make sure to put a jack with a block under the pan so you can keep the transmission in place, unbolt the bolts from the downpipe back through the front passenger-side inner fender, thats the easiest way, take the plastic fender liner out
Hope that helps
