Batteries?

So the LBZ has 100,000 miles on it already. Going to do a bit of maintenance in the next month or so on the truck. The batteries are getting weak, in the morning I can see they are low, and the truck is sitting during the week now.

Which batteries do you guys recommend? I was going to go with the stock AC Delco since IMO, they have lasted a fair amount of time.

I'm going through the same debate Wayne. My batteries are the factory originals with 106K miles. I have been looking at the Deka batteries but moving up to 800cca from the factory 775. But the ACDelco ones are also a possibility. Interesting to see what others have to say.

I am for sure getting away from the old style and at a minimum getting some sort of cellular battery. My old water/lead batteries keep freezing...

I'm in about the same boat, 80,000 miles on the LBZ and I Don't think it will make it through next winter on the stock batteries. Let us know what you wind up going with. I'm going ot be looking for a slightly bigger battery just b/c I'm now only running one battery.
