Coolant Flush

I want to flush the coolant and put new in. Figured with 100K on it now it can't hurt. Should I use the DexCool that came OEM? What kind of procedure for flushing? I have never cared enough about a truck that made me want to take care of it, but I like this one and would like to see another 100K out of it!

dex cool will be the only coolant I use.....I would just drain the block and the radiator and be done.

I would just drain and refill. You won't get all of it. You can get just over 3 gallons out.

Let me know how you go about draining it... I had a tough time with mine. I searched everywhere for a drain valve and couldn't find one. Wound up pulling the lines off the over flow bottle to drain it.
