I also have an 03 and for the most part i like it but the injectors could be a problem but at 88k most likely not i also had the injection pump go but i also hahe 150k on mine. i run the banks six gun and love it i gained about 2 mpgs but i also need injectors and it doesn't pass the special warranty. Overall i like the truck it does what i ask and doesn't complain.

With that many miles and being an 03, i would buy it in a heart beat, that price sounds pretty darn good too me, LB7's can be a reliable work horse for many many years, with proper care, if you get her, make sure to keep up on the maintenance, fuel filters are important to change regularly on any Common rail diesel

best tuning for a duramax, hands down is the PPE xcellerator, if you dont plan on getting too crazy with the power, i would recommend the Xcellerator economy, or the Diablosport predator, they are cheap and provide more than enough power boost to make mustangs weep

I would straight pipe it and swiss cheese the airbox, maybe get a 4" turbo back system, thats all i would do to the breathing part of the truck, straight piped LB7s sound sick

Hope that helps
