Worth a shot???

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180580564316

I would make this my "farm truck" for carrying mech tools, fuel, tow 12K trailer.
If it ran well, might even mount a plow on it. Mileage is scary....

Can't find a reg cab dually 4x4 with plow anywhere.

Well, its definately been worked. But it seems pretty solid. Have you contacted the seller about maintenance and repairs?

Not yet, but for $4,600 (might be able to get him lower) I don't know how you could go wrong. Unless the motor has a knock, or some other big problem....

I need a strong diesel/dually/4x4 for a farm/mechanic type truck.

Any idea what the GCWR or max bumper pull is on that truck?

My guess is GCWR is 22-23K and max bumper pull is 12K.

GCWR should be between 24K & 26K. As for towing, with a factory under hitch, it would have been 12K-14K. But with that pintle hitch, sky is the limit. 16K? 20K?

In PA it's limited to what the manufacturer says or the body intstaller writes on the door jamb sticker.

If it had a plow, I'd be ALL OVER that thing.

I need a white GM/Dmax/Ally/dually/4x4/chassis to build my farm/plow truck.

Doesn't have to be great shape, high mileage OK.
Do I ask for too much?
