Rough idle

Okay so I just installed my air dog 150 and after a series of test drives I have noted that when I take my foot off the pedal after acceleration or normal driving, it tends to idle rough...Anybody else's truck doing this?

I've seen it caused by having too much pressure at the fuel filter..... I'd get with Airdog, or whoever you bought it from and see what the pressure there is supposed to be and see if it's a relief valve issue.

if its got a rough idle then it shouldn't matter wheter its to much pressure because there is return line to the tank. try running some lucas cleaner in the fuel system. my truck did that when i put the fass fuel system on myne and i got aggervated about it so i changed my filter under the hood and added lucas fuel system cleaner and it will eat out the wax residue built up in the injectors and fuel rails.

Too much pressure to the CP3 at idle on a DURAMAX WILL cause a nasty lopey idle as the regulator is adjusted in the ECM to control the fuel pressure with a vacuum to the pump. Normally you want to stay under about 10-12 at idle if possible to maintain a decent idle, but 7-8 is better.
