Dropping fuel tank! Needs some up grades!

I have an 03 lb7 with 218000 and going strong. My sending unit went bad and my fuel gauge is on E and won't move. So I thought I would ask while I have the fuel tank down what else can I do under there? After market fuel pump? I'm open to all ideas. Someone please steer me in the right direction!

First off, I would pull the bed, this is what I did when I installed my AirDog... How much fuel is in the tank? What is done to the truck? What will be done to the truck? Is a fuel system needed? ( I like the added filtration)

an airdog160 or FASS system would be good to ensure you dont drain the fuel rails on big tunes, even the BD on the highest setting is probably draining the fuel rails and your not getting as much out of the engine as you should be, plus as Neel said the extra filtration is not a bad idea either

there is no in tank pump on these trucks, the CP3 injection pump does all the work(hence why an aftermarket pump is a good idea), if you install a FASS or Airdog they come with larger lines etc... thats all you really need to do

depends where you shop.. from GM yes I believe it, dealers are probably the most expensive places to buy parts, way too rich for my blood
