Lack of power? Ford had more?

Hey guys.... Im new to the duramax. I just traded my 2004 F-250SD with the power stroke 6.0 in on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with the LB7 in it. The turck runs great no problems with it at all. It is all bone stock with 209,000 miles on it. The truck looks nice and has only had 2 owners. The first thing i noticed getting into it a bit is it just dosent seem to throw you back in the seat like my old 6.0L powerstroke used to. I know im new to the dmax and dont really know of anyone else with one to compare to but shouldnt this thing throw you back in the seat more than the power stroke with 150k on it did? I know the dmax isnt much bigger than the 6.0L but do you guys think I am just expecting to much out of it or just not comparing apples to apples here? Any info would be great..

You arent comparing apples to apples.

01-04 LB7 duramaxes have 300hp/550tq
03-07 PSD are 325/600tq, thats a HUGE difference

Buy a tuner, 4" exhaust and I'm sure the Dmax will not dissapoint

Ok. That's what I was kind of thinking. I just wanted some input. What exhaust would you recomend? Basicly, 1 im not trying to break the bank. 2. This is a daily driver and dosent pull much about 5k lbs in toys periodicly.. 3. I hate loud exhaust but like a little bark. What setup would you recomend? Or should I go to my local experienced exhaust shop and let him whip up something with like a flowmaster muffler? As for a tunner im thinking about the Bully Dog PMT. Any thoughts?

4" Magnaflow, the price is good, its full stainless, and its a nice kit to boot

as for tuner I would look at either PPE or diablosport predator
