Turbo Whistle??

This is kind of a weird question, but how come the turbos on the Dmax's are so quite? My truck is straight piped and you dont hear any turbo off the exhuast like the Fords or Dodges, and very little whistle in the cab. Is there a way to really make the turbo whistle?

I just put an intake on mine and it made it way more noticeable.. (already have 5" straight)... some people say it doesn't make much of a difference and some say it does.. I've heard that something with a solid tube makes a difference over the stock stuff... All I know is I drove by my brother's house and he was in the house and could tell the difference and called me to ask me what I did..

An intake will make your turbo aloottttt louder. Mine screams, and sounds like its was faster than it actually is hahaha

I will have to agree with what is said already, put a cold air intake on and it will improve the whistle!
