AFE Air intake

I am new to the diesel world and want a new air intake. Just wondering if anyone knows the difference between the afe stage 2 systems?

The Type CX Pro Dry S
Type CX or
Pro Guard 7 type CX

Also, is their a big difference between the AFE and the AEM intakes?

In all reality an intake doesnt do anything for horsepower. A good intake like KillerBee's (he's a vendor here) will help with IAT, but most intakes are just for the sound. I have an S&B and i like it because it was cheap, sounds good, and their filters are 8 layers of media. But if its one of your first mods save your money for exaust or gauges
