Question about an Edge w/attitude

Okay so I just bought a 2003 duramax and i am thinking about getting an Edge with attitude tuner......I like it for the fact that it takes care of needing gauges and it is on the fly......I found a used one on Ebay......is there anything i should ask them to make sure that is included?? I know it is for the lb7 and they said they never installed the egt probe.....but thats all I really know.....Even though it was once installed on another truck i can still use it on mine correct?? Also is there any reason i should stay away from Edge?? Thanks for the help!

As for the Edge w/ monitor all that comes with it is the thermal couple, module with plug in harness and the monitor with the lead that plugs into the module. What you might want to consider getting is the aftermarket pillar mount that the monitor just clips into. If the unit is made for that year model it will work on any Lb7 made in that time era. They are simple to hook up however they have had issues in the past where they get too hot under the hood in the summer and tend to mess up the programming. Just have to keep in mind when you mount it to keep it where fresh air is flowing through like on the distirbution box. There are some also on this site in the want to sell section for cheap.

03 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD, K/N intake, PPE boost fooler, Edge hot juice w/monitor, 4" MBRP turbo back exhaust, Line X bed lining, B/W turnover hitch, Merchant Automotive xfer case pump upgrade
