Smile What brand is the stock lb7 turbo??

I was just wondering who makes the turbo for the lb7 motor? Also what is the most amount of boost you can put through it safely?? Thanks

I believe IHI. Dont take my word on it as I am still pretty new to owning a LB7. Plus my truck is in my shop and I am at home, so I cant even look at it for ya.

IHI.

IIRC, Max safe boost is 32-33 psi. Above that and you may hear "BOOM".

IHI is correct. 32 is safe, 37 is very BAD!

I believe its made by Conair!! And i think my g/f's blow dryer made by them is about 10-12 lbs. hahahah!!! Just kiddin.........My dads old Duramax never saw anymore than 30 in stock formation soimwith the rest of the guys id say no moer than 33 without major problems!

OH YEA! It lasted three pulls @36+

The engine is in pieces getting some hard parts (Rods and new bearings). It will be ready for the 2008 pulling season.
