2004 lb7 juice and attitude ???'s

a found a brand new juice with attitude we got it all hooked up and its a great mild piece for his truck, now after driving it is there any way in hell that the boost will increase after the egt probe is installed he swears that it has increased about 3-4 lbs once it was installed, is this possible, i am not too far into the the d-max's so thats why i am asking here.

NO it will not increase the boost by putting an egt probe in the manifold.

Programming plays a big part in how/when boost comes up. Since the Edge modifies the stock programming, I'd say thats the case. I've never understood how a computer program change could alter what a mechanical part does, but people smarter than I have said thats what happens.
