fuel gauge

Does any one else have the problem with running out of fuel at an 1/8 of a tank. I once put 30 gallons in when it was just above an 1/8. If any one has had this prob what was the fix.

Must be a long box?

Dont trust the gauge to be correct all the time. Some senders act differently than others.

Do you have a lift pump installed? If so, what one, and how is it plumbed?

Being the son of a mechanic, I have never let a truck get below 1/4, and the one time that I did, I ran out of fuel with my new born baby in the truck. Lukily I coasted into the station, but I realized the mistake I had made and why my dad always told me to fill at a 1/4.

I know this doesnt really help your situation, but I would just fill up at 1/4 if I were you.
