Stock Trans What Tuner

I have had my truck for about a month now and I havent done anything to it performance wise other than a boost increase valve. The trans reaches about 200 degrees and I am gonna get a deep pan for it to lower that so what would be a good all around tuner?:

EFI Live and PPE most likely the best, but salty!

Edge, Bully Dog and there are a few others.

EFI Live is a total tuner, you can program some wild tunes with it, PPE and PPE Hot have some preloaded tunes that can go all the way to 220HP added.

Personally, I would go with PPE, PPE Hot or EFI Live. As soon as I get off my lazy butt and get to the tax preparers office, I will be buying EFI Live myself, and possibly a new Suncoast trans.

Thats another thing, dont go over 100HP on a stock trans, otherwise you will limp it, then its all down hill from there! The Allison is a great trans stock, if it stays behind a stock engine, once you start freeing up some ponies on the engine, you start slipping that tranny. Keep that in mind, after a tuner, its a good idea to look for a good trans, or have yours rebuilt to with stand that new found fun!

I only ever reccomend Edge J/A, PPE and EFI Live.

Edge for the conservative person who plans on stopping there (never happens).

PPE for the crazy person who doesnt want to mess with EFI Live.

EFI Live for the insane person who has no life and wants the most out of their truck at the risk of going mentally insane (my case).

So what are you trying to say? I want EFI Live for the Spring Fling at Erics, does this mean I am :Pshyco: . Hopefully I will still have a life after I buy it:

you will, basically what Im sayng is at times it can get frustrating and over time make you insane. But you wont really go insane.

But some people may still tell you you have no life, i get told that all the time, but then my truck beats them. Youlll learn thats how it goes too.

Buy it you will not be dissapointed.

Talking to Killerbee right now about a V1, since I have a spare laptop that would be great for it! Thanks for the advice, I might have to take you up on the tunes.
