C-4500

My boss is buying a 04 chevy 4500 with a d-max. What kind of fuel mileage are you guys getting under heavy loads.

I am asking not about medium duty trucks, but about what you guys are getting with your light duty trucks pulling different loads. i am sorry if this is still in the wrong place, but i am not asking about 4500 series trucks, i am asking about YOUR trucks.

Sorry, I thought you were asking about a larger sized truck. I regularly see 18.6 with a solid mix of both city and highway. Thats also with a light amount of beating on the ricers and such. Some have seen better, but then again some have seen worse.

I guess everyone missed the heavy load part  . I see 8-11mpg pulling 25,000-30,000lbs at 65 and 75mph with my 01 2500. Don't know how my 03 3500 does yet.
