trans slips when it shifts...need help

what would cause the trans to slip between shifts but if you smash the throttle the trans doesnt slip...and its not the defueling that im talking bout its a definate slip then it grabss...ive checked the fluid levels and all...

2002 Chevy Silverado 2500hd ec/lb 4x4, efi live with built transmission , k&n intake, Dual 5 inch stacks, intake horn mod, 315/75/16 Kuhmo Road Venture M/T.

no every gear....i changed the spin on filter n pulled the trans pan found metal shavings in there...i changed the internal filter also...seemed to help since the filters were probably clogged but it looks like my converter or something else is comeing apart...its still drivable but it wont be long....

well the Quadzilla would be whats causing your slip......... the allison in stock form takes nothing past 100hp... i would say 80hp is the safe limit, if your slipping it and finding metal shavings in your pan then im gona say that you need a rebuild ASAP, your on borrowed time friend, your gona need a new tq-converter, steels and frictions, Valve-body, and bands.... and a check over to see what other damage has been done
