I have heard that on the 425 tune you have to run dual cp3's is that true?

If you wanna get the most of the tune you have too! The 425 tune calls for so much fuel a stock cp3 can't supply and maintain the proper rail pressure. And when your rail pressure drops the spray pattern of your injectors changes from an atomized spray to larger drops that dont burn well and cause cylinder temps (egt) to go through the roof!! Running a risk of melt down. Will it run? yes! Will it run well? No...

Could you put in a modified cp3 and be good? Do you need to put dual cp3's?

I think a modified would get you closer to what you need but i ultimately its hard to beat what dual fuelers can provide you!!

A lift pump will help the Cp3 but since you want to run the 425hp ppe hot +2 the duel Cp3's are the way to go plus the lift pump.

why would you change a Dmax to mechanical injection???? Dual CP3's are going to make the truck run a whole lot better, a modified pump just isnt gonna keep up if your throwing that much fuel at it

okay because a p pump is for a 6 cylinder so I could not see how it would work and why would you even do that dual cp3's would be so much easier.
